Hi to you dear ones,

Yes, another page on the calendar turned over. October is quite windy and actually still cool here, we even had a freak rain last night, and our mountains got fresh snow. I do miss the fall in Va. and other states where the leaves turn bright colors, so enjoy it for me those who are there.

Many of you asked about David. Yes, he is miraculously better, still has a tube in, and he does have prostate cancer. But he did not die as the drs. thought he would. He is home and thanking the Lord, wanting to serve HIM as long as God gives him life here. Thanks for prayers for him still.

There is another case that we put before the Lord continually: Our school directors, Marino and Lupe, have a lovely daughter, Janira, in Lima with her husband and 2 precious little ones. Janira had a large tumor over one of her ovaries and it was growing fast, very dangerous. Drs. removed all her reproductive organs and now she is in the difficult high dose chemo therapy. Please please help us pray for her total healing. Marino and Lupe take turns going to Lima during Janira's treatments to help with the children, but the school needs them here too, so it is difficult. Thanks for praying.

The school had another anniversary, and the program went well last Friday night. It was glorifying to God. We are thankful to God for His provision for this institution, where we pray students, teachers, parents and grandparents will come to know the Lord and stay faithful to HIM. Bob gave an excellent message to all in attendance - about the need to put the Lord first in our lives, and teach this to our children at home. With so much technology these days it seems family devotions and Scripture reading with the young ones and teaching them to read God's Word from very young age is disappearing. Thanks for praying for our homes here, we pray for your homes too!

Bob had some trips last month. Most were profitable, though there are some problems in the Caylloma and Espinar areas. Also even in Majes Valley. Again, so much technology, so many confusing voices on internet, facebook, other sources. Please help us pray our believers will grow Spiritually in the right way. Thanks. This week we should be gone for 3 days to a retreat with the missionaries from CMML here in Peru, this time we go to the jungle, Tarapoto. So we will probably not take the computer and probably won't be on the email from Tuesday to Saturday. However we truly want to thank you for your faithful prayer for us and your generous sharing as the Lord leads.
