Hi dear ones! Greetings from Perú!

Yes, we have "marched" back, and are still marching. So much to do and to catch up with. We had a wonderful time seeing many of you and we surely thank you for your marvelous hospitality and generosity. Thanks again.

Bob is now down at the youth congress, just for today. They all should be back tonight. It is surprisingly raining here still. Usually March is getting dryer, but this year they say we will have rain all month. In the Majes valley the heavy rains did a lot of damage, even destroying houses. The brother there who was giving problems to the other believers had his house washed down. The believers got together and are helping him, we hope God will work in his heart to see the truth and how he has distorted it. So please pray for Pedro and the believers there in the Majes valley. 3 or 4 of them are now at the youth congress and should stay for tomorrow's meeting, we are glad they are growing in Christ.

The next elders meeting with the leaders of several of the mountain churches is March 16. Please continue to pray for our leaders, that they may be strong in the faith and doctrine, and able to teach others and win more to the Lord. Thanks.

Then please pray for the school! Starts Monday and I am not totally ready. Also the rains may make the first days kind of difficult. Usually the rains come in the afternoon, but sometimes it is foggy and wet in the mornings too. Please pray for our teachers. We do have some precious believers and some new ones who are very open and respectful. We thank the Lord for each of them, pray for each of them, and for a good year of being able to freely teach God's Word and His values, keeping a Christlike, godly world view here. Thanks so much for praying for this opportunity, and for each of the students too. We desire this generation for the Lord. One good thing is that enough of the Christians in Lima and countrywide protested the mandatory teaching of homosexuality as an "acceptable life style" that this is being removed from the curriculum this year. So we have that victory to thank the Lord for and we continue to trust Christ for freedom to carry on for Him in all areas.

Some of our dear brothers are ill. We found out today that our national worker, Teodoro, has a strange anemia. We pray for health for him. Another precious handicapped wheel chair brother had another stroke while we were gone and is hospitalized. He had to have a tracheotomy to be able to breathe and he is kinda sad he can't talk. He seems to be improving though, being able to move his limbs somewhat. Please pray for Hugo too.

We were saddened to see many family and friends in the U.S. also with serious health issues, some had departed for Glory. Glad they are believers and now with Christ but they leave grieving loved ones down here. Anyway, God's promise of eternal life with His own keeps us going and rejoicing and we again thank each of you for your faithful prayer and sharing.

Hi and greetings from cool Idaho! Yes, groundhog, keep up the good climate!

We are with Bob's brother, Peter in their northern Idaho home, where Peter and his wife are working on translating Scripture for their Manchenere tribe where they worked for years. God has been so good to us here in our travels. We have had good weather even though parts of the U.S. have had below freezing temperatures. Hopefully the good climate will continue, we have a little over three weeks left here.

We have visited several of Bob's relatives. Some have serious health issues and some have passed into glorious life eternal. We do miss Peru and "our" Arequipa, with our dear brethren in so many areas and churches. We pray for them daily, and hear some good reports, but some disturbing news too.

Please pray for one of our leaders, Vicente Kacma. He needs a couple of surgeries. He and his family have an outreach in Polobaya and its annex, Agua Buena. He has led some to the Lord there and has a small meeting with the believers. These are towns about 2 hours drive from Arequipa and have no church. Vicente is a good brother, please do pray for the correct treatment for him and complete recovery.

Do please pray for these new believers too. Right before we left Peru a lady from there was baptized in our main Arequipa church. We are concerned for some other leaders too in different locations. But God's church is growing and we are thankful.

Please pray for the school too, they are on vacation this month of February, but we are praying for the Lord to bring dedicated Christian teachers. And for the students to be enrolled. We pray the school will be a light to all involved. We should be back in Arequipa the first day of March, Lord willing. School starts March 4!

Thanks so much for praying and sharing for God's work here. Our support address is:

Hi to you all,

Yes, 2018 is gone and it is now January, and it is going too! December went fast with all the activities, school, childrens home, Bible studies, etc. Opportunities to share Christ and the reason He came.

Bob had some trips in December. One was to Espinar, where Daniel is still making problems, dividing the church up there and basically saying Bob is not welcome there. However there are several who truly want to go God's way and want Bob to continue to help them. So please pray for wisdom and love in these difficult situations.

Another church we have been involved in some in the past also is going through some difficult times with changes and regulations not entirely according to Scripture. For sure God's church is going through difficult times, sometimes it is discouraging, but we need to look up, our redemption draws near. We are glad for the freedom to still teach God's Word. We pray for this to continue, even though there are many diversities among believers.

Bob also attended a meeting for leaders from several churches, mountain and valley groups and from here in Arequipa too. We pray for these leaders, that they would lead their people in God's straight paths.

The closing program at school was good. We feel the Lord was honored, and we are thankful for a good spirit all year among teachers and families. Thanks for praying for the school. Please help us pray for dedicated Christian teachers for next year too. Some may be leaving us, but some will stay and we do pray for God to send us His chosen ones for the vacancies. We pray also for the freedom to continue to teach God's values and His ways. Pray please for the correct discipline required for the students and the teachers to achieve these values. Thanks!

New Year's eve we had our traditional "watchnight service" here in our main Arequipa church. It was well attended and there was a blessed spirit, in testimonies, song, prayer, and a meal - like at midnight! Well, sleep wasn't on the agenda but it was a night worth it for many.

January 15 we have tickets to go to the U.S. for 6 weeks. We hope to see several of you, but sorry we will have to miss many as well. Time is short for us to be away! Our dear granddaughter, Jennifer, (Terri's daughter) is getting married Feb. 23. So we will be glad to be there!! We are so thankful for our grown children, and now their grown and growing children! What a blessing that they love the Lord and now it will be 3 granddaughters with precious godly husbands! The blessing of the Lord maketh rich says the psalmist. Well, the first two of our granddaughters to marry were Rich and are now other last names, but they are rich in the Lord!

To finally end the beginning month of 2019, THANK YOU to all who pray for us and share with us! We hope for you that this year will truly be full of God's blessings for each of you! Our website, done by our dear son Joe is: bobandnoelrich.com. Our support address is:

Many blessings for all 2019 and on, Noél for us

Hi to all of you dear ones,

Hard to believe December is here already, and the last embers of 2018 are going out! Another year is almost gone. It has been a good one and we have grown and learned. We look forward to all the Lord has for us and His work here in the next year. We trust to keep going for God, and we thank you for all your help, praying for us, sharing as the Lord leads. We have purchased tickets to the U.S. for January 15, returning here, Lord willing, February 28. We just may drive out west, as it has been 6 years since we have seen Bob's family and others out there who have shared with us and prayed for us for years. Hopefully we can visit some of you, we are not sure yet how it all will work out! Thanks for praying for us in this.

Bob had another profitable trip to the Majes valley and this weekend he plans to go to Espinar for a couple days. This coming Sunday is voting day for regional governors, as well as what they call a "referendum" to decide on several political issues and state of congress, etc. There has been really unbelievable corruption discovered in this country on all levels. People don't trust anyone and don't know who or what to vote for. There are protest marches and strikes mixed in with idolatrous processions and practices. We have freedom to teach and preach God's Word and we sincerely pray this will continue in spite of all this mess going on around us. There is definite lack of order and discipline, beginning with the home and stretching into all areas. Thanks so much for praying for us, that we would really be lights for the Lord.

School year ends in a couple weeks! Final exams and Christmas program practices are starting. I am preparing the 4 year olds for a little skit and the 5th graders for another one. We pray for all the programs and events these days to glorify the Lord! The students are all excited, noisy, crazy, just kids having a good time - we really thank the Lord for the school and all the opportunities here. Please pray for Christian teachers for next year, we know some are leaving us, and we need to see more for 2019 to come. I am blessed to be able to continue teaching these precious lives. Thanks so much for praying for each of them, for me and the teachers, and for our homes and families.

The youth from our main Arequipa church helped in a distribution of loaded Christmas bags in the state boys home Saturday, and we and another family did this in the Christian children's home we help. Both places we were able to share God's message: the Saviour has come and we need Him! The youth did a skit on the Prodigal son, then divided the boys into groups to personally converse and share the need to trust Christ as Saviour and Lord. We pray God will work in hearts there.

Also, some of the youth and others are doing outreaches to the towns near Arequipa, to a sector of Yarabamba called Belaunde, and to the town Polobaya and its anex, Agua Buena. Our newer missionaries, Jeff and Angela Anderson, are evangelizing in a sector of the Colca canyon as well as in another section of the town of Congata called Nueva Leticia. They are really active in God's work and we are thankful for them. So pray for them too and for the Lord to supply all their needs as well as bless and bring new believers in these areas and in others.

Truly we want to wish you a very joyful Christmas season, how we thank God for HIS greatest, unspeakable Gift to us, His Son and Salvation - eternal life! So, a very merry Christmas to you all, Noél for us

Hi to you all,

God says to give thanks in all things, so really Thanksgiving should happen every day! But especially these days we remember all of God's goodness and His mercy for each of us. How we thank Him for His unspeakable gift, His only Son, our Lord Jesus.

Here this month is flying by. Last month was busy too! The youth from here had a good couple day retreat out at Angela's fields of Aloe Vera, where she and Jeff have land and a small couple rooms. We are thankful for the youth in our main church here, and just last Sunday 3 young people were baptized. In another of our Arequipa churches another young gal was baptized a couple weeks ago. We praise the Lord and ask you to pray for these youth and other new folks who are visiting our main church anyway here, receiving the Lord's message.

For sure we live in difficult days for youth to grow up in. So much technology and some of it is truly harmful. The enemy is trying to invade people's minds. We know God is the winner but we truly want more and more to really believe in Him, be saved and stay faithful for life.

Bob has had some profitable trips, to the Majes Valley where the believers have built a temporary meeting room on the property of one of the families there. We are thankful for that. That group does need men to be raised up as leaders. Thanks for helping us pray for this.

Last weekend I accompanied Bob to Juliaca and a couple of Quechua communities out in the country near Juliaca. In one of them, the believers are visiting all the homes in the community sharing the Gospel and giving out tracts. I went with a couple of girls out to visit on Saturday a.m. and Bob with a couple of the guys. Some of the older ladies only speak Quechua, but of course the youth from there speak it too so where I couldn't really testify, they did.

It is good to see the believers from there unite to win their neighbors. We also visited with a family of believers in Juliaca and there is a possibility of starting a group in the city - please help us pray for this to happen.

Also please remember to pray for the school. The govt. is determined to promote the curriculum which is very anti-God. We have purchased some very good books, Christian school curriculum, and we truly plan to change over to this as much as we can for next year. Please pray for the school, we desire to be a real light for the Lord to students, teachers, parents, and all involved.

Thank you so much for praying for the Lord's work here and for sharing as God provides. Our support address is:
