So sorry for the delay. The Lord is working and we truly thank you all for your prayers.
The news from Peru is for the most part good. Our Peruvian brothers are carrying on, the churches have for the most part have remained stable. God is bringing more to Himself. We are so very thankful. Of course there are some problems but the Lord is giving wisdom to the leaders He has raised up. Please continue to pray for these leaders, that they may have God's wisdom and discernship.Thanks!
As for the school, the 2026 school year started a month ago and is going on. How we praise the Lord for the freedom we have to teach God's truth, His Word. Please pray that Ebenezer Christian school will maintain Christ's values and be a light for Him.
Our youth keep on going out to teach children God's word in various areas in around Arequipa. Please pray for these outreaches. Now for the not so good news. We have been uprooted. But we are amazed at how the Lord is definitely caring for His servant.
Bob ("Roberto") has advanced cancer: from prostate to bones, now to a large part of the brain. This requires more radiacion. He had 10 sessions of radiotherapy after 19 sessions of chemotherapy but the cancer continued to spread, metastasis over large areas. Bob was hospitalized here in VA for 3 days in order to get the vomiting controlled. He is really weak and has loss of equilibrium and balance.
We have been here with our daughter Terri, who was recently widowed. We are glad that her dear children, Jennifer and Joshua, are taking good care of Terri and she is surrounded by her 4 grandchildren (and #5 on the way). But with Josue so recently passing into glory her housing situation is uncertain and very expensive. Please help us pray for wisdom, strength and provision for Terri.
So it appears that in a few weeks we will be moving to Indiana where our two sons live. They are stable and love the Lord. Again, it is amazing how the Lord has led us and we thank Him and trust for His continued guidance.
