Hi to you all,
And thank you so very much for all the sympathy notes you have sent. I really miss Bob and tears still come whenever I have to tell about his passing, but I know he is with our LORD and in a much better place. Thanks again for praying and thanking God for His salvation.
Our son, Paul, and his wonderful family have given me a room in their house and now all of my earthly belongings are with me here. Paul's wife, Kim, takes me to appointments for my many health issues which were neglected during Bob's treatments, etc. Now, the first issue to be dealt with is dentistry. This is the one that would not be covered by insurance and unfortunately is very expensive, but not near what it would be in VA. Kim found ways to get more discounts with the dentist plans, etc. I am truly thankful for the Lord's provision.
Even though it is June, it is still very cool these days, nice on some days but very windy and chilly. Elkhart, IN has much the same weather as Chicago, brr. I remember that from Moody days.
Hopefully I can still have some ministry here and in Peru for the Lord. With Paul we are seeing how we can continue helping our Ebenezer Christian school and also support our Peruvian missionaries sent out from our Arequipa churches, also the editing of Bob's teaching sessions and Bible studies. Christian Missions in Many Lands, Int. will continue to send tax deductible receipts to donors.
Pepe does most of this editing and there is still a lot to be done. So these studies go to some radios in the south of Peru. Believers in the towns can learn and benefit from the studies. I want to see more of Bob's books sold to the brothers there and here. We pray this new generation will remain faithful to Christ. This includes our grandchildren and great grandchildren. I am truly thankful for our children and grandchildren who love the Lord and teach their little ones to know and follow Him.
